I was definitely not expecting this. Team 17, after spending a lot of time in the 3-D realm of Worms with Worms 3-D, Under Seige, and Worms 4... Has made a Worms game for the DS. But it's not going to be a badly rendered 3-D world, but the classic 2-D layout, and it's beautiful 2-D. The explosions look terrific, and the menu will be very functional using the Touch Screen. I think most of know how frustrating it can be navigating the weapons menu with the D-Pad. The game releases.. Tomorrow! March 22nd, although it will probably be overshadowed by the very anticipated Metroid Prime: Hunters. Oh, what horrible timing to sell, eh? It will also be released on the PSP. It will also be Wi-Fi compatible, so you can take your Worms online against other players. http://thq.com/worms/ (Be sure to check out the Trailer, the rest of the site is... Blechk...) |

I have worms! I mean... I had worms. I mean... I once owned "Worms Armaggedon" and "Worms 3D"... yea. They were great games, although I prefer GunBound. But I might get this game... you never know.
I know what you mean, it happened to me... too. I'm generally too occupied by console gaming or other things, and I never have many opprotunities to play portable games (I don't take 'em to shcool, and I never ride a bus or anything like that... so I can't play 'em then). So what's the point of even owning 'em, you know? My Nintendo DS is a slightly different story, though. It's got a handful of unique games you physically can't find on any console or computer... so I'll actually play it (regardless of it being a portable system) at home. |

im pretty much the same way tails
dunno why, guess i just prefer console over portable. i mean id rather play an rpg console game than a portable game, simply due to the fact youll be more isolated from people and noise and disruptions, so youll be more drawn into whatever story the game is telling you. or something.anyway though, ive always been a fan of worms and played a couple pc worm games. havent played any worms games in a loooong time, but id love to see how this ds worms is like. maybe ill buy it when i get the money and start playing my ds again, im craving to play again anyway. |
