First of all, let me just begin by saying, that I already bought 10 games for the DS. So nintendo has around 400$ of mine, I think they can stand to lose a few.

Now, I only recommend this for computer-savvy people(not geeks, but If you know what a movie converter is, you're good)

The M3 only comes with 2 adapters, a PassKey(To fool your DS into thinking the game in the GBA slot is a DS game), and the Memory card adapter. You have to buy a seperate CompactFlash or SD Memory card to get going. These cost anywhere from 45-400 dollars, depending on capacity. The average game is about 64megs, so a 1G card will suffice. You'll also be cramming music and movies onto this thing, so be a little generous.

Now, THE PSP AIN'T GOT NOTHIN ON THE DS! This little doohickey will also let you atch movies, listen to music, look a tpictures, and read books on your DS. But thats not all, you can also downlaod ROMS and play them for free on your DS!

I'll have pictures up soon.

Wow, that's awesome! I'm sure ordering a cart will also comes with a few manuals and stuff, right? And I'm planning on uopening up a checking account soon, which mean I'll actually be able to order one of these suckers eventually. >_>

Let's see... I've bought Meteos, Kirby, Mario Kart, Advance Wars DS, Animal Crossing, and Mario & Luigi for the DS. That's $180! I've also bought a slew of GBA Games, and GBC Games. That makes me justified... Sort of. I've always wanted to try that game where you play as a Lawyer, but basically I'd buy the game for multiple ROMs like SNES or Genesis games.

And speaking of which, how do ROMs that are not for the DS work? Do you have to transfer emulators on there as well? And how does the browsing work for the Cart?

thats a really good question. in my opinion, its all on what you think about each one and which will be right for you. they are both incredibly good handhelds to buy, but it all depends on how you look at it. the DS, it plays all the classic nintendo games from mario to others, using the dual screen for more effect. the PSP, has a lot more to offer, but it has so much to offer that its more of just a tiny media center, which you could set up on a TV for about the same price. the graphics might be better on the PSP, and the gameplay might be better on the DS. like i said, its all on how you look at it and what it has to offer.

so hammy, for you, im guessing you might want to get a DS. you have an ipod video, which has like half of the features of the PSP anyways, so it would be pointless trying to get a PSP (it is even a 100 dollars more expensive!). i think you would have more fun with a DS.

lol, people at my school call the PSP a PPM, for Portable Porn Machine, cuz u can get internet on it

Hammy- get a DS. it's games are much better.

Papa- Funny story. At football camp, the cabins are spread over a ~25 yard radius. I was in the bunk at one end of the camp. When suddenly, we hear moaning coming from outside. Turns out, that the bunk directly across from us (~50 yards), had a PSP plugged in to someone's stereo. The entire camp heard the porn, but no one really cared cuz they thought it was really funny.

Ace- Pheonix Wright Ace Attorney has to be one of the best games I have ever played on the DS.
He, actually, there are no manuels at all. There are a few readme's on the minicd they provide, but that's only to install the software. Don't worry, if you need any help, you can always PM me. Or, http://forum.gbadev.org/ is probably the best place for anything DS. Scroll down to the bottom for the DS sections. just don't mention ROMS there, they're mainly a homebrew community.

See, that's exactly why people should carry headphones around. -_-;

Okay, well thanks for the help, I'll be getting my next paycheck on Thursday, and I'll be able to open up a checking account and get a debt card then I'll be able to order this Cart. How much does one of these things cost? If I get a 1 Gigabyte card.. It will have more memory than my current MP3 player... Then I could bring my DS everywhere if I had big enough pockets. I hope that one day Nintendo might consider making a slimmer model of the DS, it's like two GBAs pancaked together... Ew...
