Go ahead and vote in the poll above, and then, if you'd like, reply to this topic and explain who you voted for any why. But, before we go on, let me make myself clear... If ANYONE mentions how Bush WANTED to go to war to make MONEY, and if ANYONE says Bush plans to have a DRAFT..... I swear!!!... I'll go insane. That's NOT true. Neither party supports the draft fully. Bush has only said that he doesn't plan to increase the military size, and that he doesn't back the draft. A democrat in congress, named Charlie Rangle, is actually the one who proposed a new bill to relegalize the draft. It sickens me how many uneducated people there are out there, who either... A. Believe the lies the democrats tell them (and vise versa, of cource)... or B. Support Kerry not because of what he says he'll do, but simply because they dislike Bush... Of cource, who you choose to support/vote for is up to you... I'm just hoping the decision Americans come to are educated ones. I respect all educated decision, despite which side is being voted for. Eh, nobody here can vote, that I know of. Well, this poll will give you the power... so go and vote! --------------------------------------------------------- Me? I support Bush all the way. He stands firm with his decisions, and we know what to expect from him. Unlike Kerry, he's not a flip-flopper, and he plans to end the war in Iraq in a manner that is as quick and efficient as possible. Plus, anti-war hippees make me sick. Quit your damn complaining!... sides, how is voting for an unstable president going to make things any better? The war will still go on. That's my two cents...

i stand by bush. times like this when our nation is in war....it isnt that right to vote a new president right in the middle...changing the whole plan. kerry is a goof-ball...he doesnt know what hes talking about. john edwards is a goofy dude too
:/ i remember in the presidential debate kerry said "bush decided to go to war to quickly, he should of talking to all other nations first" then bush said "im not waiting for every other nations opinions, they werent the ones getting attacked" and some other junk...but it was cool ralph nater...is just a freakin loser. someone told me (not sure if this is true O_o) he wants to legalize most illegal drugs.....and he wants to legalize having sex with animals....wtf dude. thats seriosly the most retarded thing i heard. everyone in my world history class is seriosly a crack head....and im sick of listening to them talking about how they got high and wasted last night >_< we dont need that stuff damnit! |

I'm not interested in what's going on in Iraq right now. One way or another, we're going to end up the same way we did with 'Nam, and probably with a few oil wells in between (which obviously the government or large industries will not let us know about). My views are: Bush is planing to be conservative with our economy, energy, and envirement, slowly dissipating the problems we have with economy like you would with an ice cube in an empty glass. Kerry plans to lessen all the immediate problems our country faces, throw in a few tax credits and grants for those who buy "Clean Energy" cars, spend two years in National service for college, and strive to find a better way to gid rid of Nuclear Waste--unlike DUMPING THEM IN NEVADA.
<_< I mean, Nevadanians are people too! Right? It's a very tough desicion, but my find myself much more of a democrat than a republican. Let those rich people be taxed! I bet Bill Gates uses 200,000$ for fires.... Out. |

Uh yeah, I woted for Mario for 3 reasons- 1- I don't wanna die at the hands of Puff Daddy 2- I think Mario would be the best president ever(legalizing shells and fireballs as legal weapons) 3- I don't care about politics. Honostly, I don't reeally care. Not because my vote "doesn't count" or "nobody supports it", and definitely not "because its not cool". Mainly because....heeh. the way I see it, no matter who we choose, there are gonna be good points and bad points. And whehn the bad points come around, I don't wanna regret not having of chosen the other guy, or blaming myself for the state of the economy yada yada. Well, I voted right? Mario all the way! Random Blather- What if the race for presidency was an actual Race, like in the Olympics? *Headlines* Nader Wins! Bush and Kerry disqualified, tested positive for steroids. Bucky- Where do you stand on the Kerry-Bush debate? Slim- I reminds me of Freddy VS. Jason. "Whoever wins, we lose...." |

He's close, Kilik. Ralph Nader and the independent party don't want to legalize drugs, however ... it's the Liberatarian party (I forget the candidates name) that does. And no, your friends not even close to being wrong (which is scary, huh?)... it's entirely true. The liberatarians also stand behind gay marriage, gay adoption, allow abortion in all cases, and have plans to wipe out some parts of our governement operations. It's pretty bizarre, really. But hey, druggies know who they're gonna vote for. Ah, election time is a good time of year. I don't know why, but I enjoy watching the debates, watching the polls, and witnessing democracy at work. Election time is the only time of year I care about politics, really. Despite the fact that most americans are divided by opinions and political parties, the election shows our will to unite and move fowards, despite who will lead the nation. Now moving on to the Kerry bashing, how can we blindly open our arms to someone who fails to rectify a stable position and path that this country will take (saying he'll cut taxes, imrpove government spending, and better health care isn't a position... everyone says that, whether it's for the sake of votes or not). He says he has plans for america... then what the hell are they?! He uses his experience in the Vietnam War and his disapproval of the events in Iraq as a form to bribe new voters. As a matter of fact, many of his responses to questions in the debate linked back to the war in Iraq, or his experience in war. If you're supporting Kerry, not because of what he says he'll do (which is currently unclear), but rather because you dislike Bush, your making a big mistake. Just trying to get 'rid of Bush' won't solve any problems, cause now some new guy will be sitting in his chair. Someone who you can't look at and clearly anaylze. Someone who flips and flops on subjects more than the whoppers that are flame-broiled at Burger King. I can't see how you can trust him, especially during the time period we're living in. I doubt he can handle running this nation, in this time period, with any presidential expierence. Bush has done a good job over the last few years. After 9/11, he was a critically acclaimed hero. Now he's Satan to those damn anti-war hippees. But hey, he got us this far, and although the turnout of the war isn't pleasing everyone's tastes, it could be worse. I see progress, and I see direction, with good ol' George W Bush. He's a man for the people, he seems more homely and open-hearted. He's what we need, in my opinion. It's either him, or Kerry the gurlyman! lol! Here's to four more years! On a lighter side of these events, here's a funny joke... You know, Monica Lewinski is voting republican this year. Yea, apparently the democrats left a bad taste in her mouth. LOL!!! I told my History teacher that one... lol, he pratically flipped... o_o |

John Edwards (Kerry's VP) is from North Carolina, right? Yet... North Carolina's electoral votes all went to Bush? lmao... Bush currently is in the lead with electoral votes... but I guess the election, all in all, will be very close... Wow. Mario is tied with Kerry in our poll. o_o |

Eh, My Grandma said that the biggest reason whe wouldn't vote for Kerry was that Edwards was far too young and inexperienced to be a VP... And where the heck would we be then if Kerry drowned in a toilet or something.
We had a mock election at school. There were random candidates such as "VOTE FOR MY UNCLE BUBBA!" and of course, my campaign... "Vote MENTOS! The Fresh Maker!" Anyways, I think it was the discriminating media that made me who I am with politics today. Stupid subliminal-savvy commercial people. <_< Out. |

FOUR MORE YEARS! FOUR MORE YEARS! Bush has won, as Kerry made a phonecall to the President earlier today, saying that he was concieding due to the results of Ohio, which gave Bush the last electoral votes needed to be re-elected. Now President Bush has a second term ahead of him, and Kerry has... well, his boring, regular life to put up with. There's always next time for Mario. His views, such as pro-abortion, pro-war, and pro-mushrooms, may seem a bit extreme... but... he's still awesome. |
