- Seems that DS is going to be throwing out all it's got with the game-fest as they release their new system with 64 games coming with it! Still, I'm not postitive whether the results will be good. Most of these game might be a little over-the-top or just plain simple, nothing new. People might be looking for a new device that has new... everything! -
As you can see, it's not 10, not 20, not even 30, but 32 companies are helping the DS become a great hit. So for 64 games are in developement, probably being realeased the same time as the portable console comes into reality. At this rate the DS will be doing its best, trying to outrun the PSP in gaming ways. But the question is: Are they good games?
The DS is going all-out, getting an actual 120 games in the making. If things are going as swell as they are now, the DS will be in the majority of hands coming out. But the thing is, the DS doesn't match the PSP in anyway to the graphics. One of my friends said that he would get a DS, but the PSP has better graphics. Now, that's only 1 person of the... billions of people in the world, but, there are many people that think and feel the same way about the PSP... its graphics. The DS is extremely unique and obviously emits a strong glow for being a great hand-held system. But it has the same games, with only two screens, and modified graphics that are inferior to the PSP. The DS shows alot of potential in its forthcoming event, its release rather, and 120 games just might be the way to tip the balance of favour in their direction.
So... it seems that the DS is getting alot of support. I can't keep the suspension tucked in any longer, one of these two have to be voted best hand-held gaming system soon, or I'll explode from the inexplicable eagerness... We should have a vote when these come out, and see which one is most favourable. Shouldn't we? |

Wait a sec... Something is missing.... HAL! Where the crap is HAL in that list? You want to know? Nowhere! HAL is not there! Nope! Nadda! That sucks! HAL could have done something remarkable with a new DS Kirby game and with the ability to go online would make it even better. So it seems Nintendo will be dishing out another 60 games along with the other producers which will probably include Super Mario, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf... And some of the games I'm looking forward to NOW is... Bomberman (Woot! Hopefully it'll be old school) Snowboard Kids (The N64 versions of SK ruled! ) Viewtiful Joe series (Co-op mode online maaaaybe?) Pac'n Roll (?) Pac Pix (Online Pac-Man maybe?) New Mr. Driller (Anything like Dig Dug?) Dynasty Warriors (This BETTER be online..) Yeah, looks like all the veteran companies are bringing back all their bestseller games to the DS, sort of like a giant wave of Deja Vu with improvements! Out. |

Wow, so many great 3rd party games... and that doesn't even include Nintendo's 1st party games... like Mario 64 x 4, Animal Crossing DS, Metroid Hunters, Wario Ware DS, Pictochat, the new Mario platformer, etc... Unbelievable. The DS has alot of games on the way. We can definetly expect a large array of launch titles, and those games that aren't released during the launch... will probably be released shortly after. |

- Ace, there will probably be some more companies coming into view for the support with the DS, because it's only the beginning, I bet HAL will come in somewhere, maybe eve putting SSB in it... o.0? Like... 16 player SSB... whatta fray of mayhem! I mean, 16 people trying to kill each other. If they did that, then it'd HAVE to be like... 10 miles in length... or maybe 1 mile on the screen... or maybe... like 2 metres. Yeah, 2 metres. - Hopefully more games are coming, well obviously there will be more, but I mean more before it's released. Vandal Hearts! W00T YAY! Yes... It just seems, that once the DS has come out... will they still have the same amount of creativity and enthusiasm... or will they back down and just let the Nintendo Team do all the work? I hope they stay and try making some new games, because it'd be bad for the reputation for all of them... I hope the DS goes well, if it doesn't... psh, that was unfair. Well not unfair... ANYWAY! I'm trailing off... I hope most of these games are online compatible and they all better be awesome! Or at least... good... I wonder how many characters they can have in SSB... like... 100 characters! o.0 a bit too many... how about 50. 50 characters for all the best characters Nintendo has made... Hey, have any of you thought, how hard it would be too make an awesome character like Link out of nowhere, or Mario? I just thought about it, and wondered... 'What is they never made Link or Mario, who would be the mascot? And would Link be replaced by someone similar?' I'd wonder... but really, what if they didn't make Mario... and the mascot was something like... Kirby? It would be strange... |

Nintendo- "The DS is capable of going online......if someone writes the software for it......" Online. Dam. And we thought Wi-Fi was good enough. 64 games, thats the japanese release count. And thats also "in development". I'd say about 5-20 launch titles, with flashcarts coming soon. |

somewhere(cant remember where) i heard that there wont be anymore Kirby,Super Smash Brothers, or StarWars games for nintendo O_o uhhhh that would suck... there only a few of those games that interest me alittle. i wanna see what the sonic ds would look like...i might get it if its not side scrolling >_> and the dragon quest monsters looks cool. i played dragon warrior monsters and that game was so awsome. Crystal Chronicals....i guess that would make a better handheld game then it was on the GC o_o |

I haven't heard that... but yea, it sure would suck. It's hard to comapre the DS's grpahics to anything... it all depends on how companies utalize the system's full power. With great effort, one company could make a DS games that looks just about as good as GCN graphics. Yet meanwhile, ports of N64 games will remained untouched, and the grpahics will most likely settle the way they've always been. Only time will tell. |
