So there's a new viral video out where this blonde UCLA student was ranting about Asians at her university. At roughly the same time, there's another viral video out of some bitch who was going on about how god is good for causing the tsunami and that she is so excited and that god was so good for killing all those people in Japan. Then goes on about how America should be next and it's a message to kill off the Atheists. She later admits she's trolling. You'd think the second one would be more controversial. Yes she's trolling, but this was *right* after the tsunami. But so far I've only been seeing complaints/video responses/hate messages about the first vid (both have been covered by news outlets and everything)... Hell there's a lot more going about the UCLA girl than the tsunami girl. Or does "lol I'm trollin'" really work as an acceptable excuse these days? |

I am pretty sure I saw the atheist video. She was pretty much happily preaching destruction and chaos. Perhaps people just automatically assumed she really was trolling and maybe people care more about others who genuinely believe their malicious thoughts over those just trying to piss people off. |

They appeared, these wicked women. I didn't either, but apparently they made a story out of it. | |

Still, trolling with "omg, it's so GOOD that hundreds of people died, hundreds more were injured, there's a nuclear meltdown scare, and the economy's going to take a serious hit" is very, VERY tasteless... If you ask me... I mean compared to this? ^^ This video, if you haven't seen this one. Edited by Kenje, 15 Mar 2011, 09:46 PM.

Oh it is, no doubt. I wouldn't argue otherwise. It's just maybe people stop caring when the incredibly offensive nonsense comes from someone they know is trying to rile them up. If somebody isn't sincere in their feelings about it and they're just joking around to anger people, it becomes a much less serious issue. It doesn't stop being tasteless and very hurtful but it's certainly nothing to get up in arms about when it's just another asshole being an asshole. Now the effects they have on people probably won't change whether anyone is trolling or not, but I'm just trying to point out that people probably care much more about malicious sincerity than really bad jokes. |

Its because all Trolls believe Asia deserve the natural disasters because of Pearl Harbour. Did 2 atom bombs mean nothing to these people >.> Also Trolling is becoming more common and it's making some people total jerks these days, even Town doesnt compare to them XD |

This. I get patriotism and all that, but people who pull the "Pearl Harbour" argument are seriously mentally ill. |

Said people should be hit. In the head. With a blunt object. Repeatedly. Preferrably with a tire iron. |

I don't mean to destroy the serious nature of this topic, but I figured I'd post a video response I found to that Alexandra Wallace girl. I found it quite humorous. Guy's a great singer, too. |
