Hello out there!

Can anyone of you native - english - speaking - guys tell me what the lyrics of Slower than Nowhere (bonus - track on European release of Menace to Sobriety) are about???

Including that double - meaning, tribute and quotation - stuff I don't understand as a "non - native - english - in - school - learned - but - didn't - care - anyway" guy from Germany.

Thanks

i dont think it ends the album perfectly, i have the USA version of menace and it ends with candle song which i think is the perfect ending for this album, its a good song tho, i like it, but not at the end of menace.

about the song, im not native english speaking, my guess is the song is about a boring place which is somewhere in california, either santa barbara or paulo alto "Cold in the mid-west" "Feeling the ground move under me", i think slower than nowhere means that its even more boring then nowhere or something like that, but thats just my guess i could be way off.

California is "out west", not the mid west.

I think it is about being down on your luck, maybe loss of popularity, and being stuck in a know-nothing town out in Buffalo or some shit like that.
