Another update and a few new pictures. The new barn is up but the concrete floor and lower walls will have to wait until spring ... but the equipment is covered. I replaced the old batteries and added a solid tie down system design specifically for Optima batteries. Everything was looking good and then the dash warning light for a Logic Board failure came on, the machine now has a new Logic Controller.

Looks great! There's that saying I first heard with respect to horses, "You can have money, or you can have a snowcat, but not both".

Here's a short youtube video ... nothing exciting but shows the old girl clearing a section of my road. Still learning how to move snow and keep the road clear with this machine. Does anyone have experience using the snow-blower attachment instead of the blade ?

Nice job. I like the seat. What brand seat is it? Did it come with the suspension too? I need one for a BR.

The seats are the original ones I just had new upholstery done. The new covers were done by Blu Skye Design - Industrial Sewing (industrialsewing@yahoo.com). The leather looking material is used for heavy equipment in Alaska … it stays soft even when temperatures go negative. I can’t say enough good things about these seat covers !!!

The great thing about these rigs is that they're like Italian Supermodels - they don't even have to move to look fantastic. But when they move, all you can do is watch....

Your rig looks great, BTW.... There's a local guy with a T2S and an enclosed passenger box on the back. First time I checked it out I couldn't help but see the advantage - the dogs can't climb into the the pilot's chair like they can in the T2.

Thanks for the “super model” perspective DiNCA … now I understand why my girl’s new shoes were so expensive.

I’ve been looking for a passenger cab or even another T2S I can use as a parts machine but they’re hard to fine in the States. I’ve found several machines posted overseas but the import cost takes them way outside my budget.

Is the T2 your machine ???

I have a set of rubber tracks (just the rubber no hardware) that fits the T2 that needs a home.

Green with flames, all mine. Way back when, when they were imported to Canada they pulled all the gear out of the cab and painted the whole thing green - there's still original red underneath. I've seen another green one, never figured out why they changed the color.

The top basket is off - it did a great job of holding a lump of ice but was impractical for getting anything in or out of. It blocked the escape hatch, It was bad. The tiller is off right now - long story, requires 3 beers and more photos....

Had the cat to the Special Olympics Snowfest on Saturday - it's great being able to cram some kids and a Coach in and then ride 'em around without wind and snow blowing in their faces. They had a blast.

I saw in the other thread about the tracks, replied there. Or PM me about details.

Thats kind of funny DiNCA... I had the same problem with the "closed" sides on the back of the T2S, the bed would fill with snow and freeze creating a huge block of ice. I fabricated the "tube" rails modeled after the Husky and they work great, snow melts and clears easy.

I should have the concrete floor poured in the new snow-cat barn by the end of next month. Once the floor is done I can seal in the side and get serious about giving my machine a make over. I'll strip the machine down, do some body work, and then add new paint and clear coat. I think I'll add the extra plumbing so I can mount a snow-blower too ... it's nice to have options.

I sent you a PM, hope it went through. The rubber tracks are yours if you can use them ... all you need to do is figure out shipping. I can post a picture if you want.

The snow is melting and I'm already prepping for next year !
