Our club is looking for a 2nd groomer and we really like the Tucker terra we have with the long tracks. What I am wondering is if there is anyone out there that has used the short track as well as the long track and can give me a good comparison. |

If you are on flat terrain a std. track is fine but, if you climb any hills or need flotation for deep snow, stick w/long tracks. |

Long tracks give you lower psi on any terrain, provide higher resale value and are more desirable. Ride is better on the long as well. In the older days, before say 2008-2009 the only advantage the standard track had is price and tighter turning radius. Now days both the long and the standard are the same in terms of turing. Go with the long if you can. |
