Our Co. Assoc. is looking at possibly leasing a tractor from our Highway Dept. for next season. They would charge us for only the hours we use it at current D.O.T. rates (pretty sweet deal). We would have to purchase our own chains. My question is, they only have a 90 h.p. New Holland available. Would this be enough? We have some steep hills and would be pulling an 8' Arrowhead. We own a Case MX120 that pulls an 8' drag like nothing is behind you.

I would think that it would pull the drag but where you would get into trouble would be if we had a big storm like this year. Why did you guys get rid of the tucker? Did you guys pick up a new tucker? |

We had a small 80-90hp tractor two years ago, the biggest issue is normally ground clearance and tire size. The power should be "ok" but not ideal. |

We had the Tucker for 15yrs. and are looking to upgrade to a TERRA. The leased tractor would go over by Loganville where there is less traffic. Looking at possibly selling our BR-160 also- has 5300hrs. on it. If this happens we would still have 2 "tracked" units to go through when the big snow/winds hit.
