We seem to have a small leak somewhere on the hydraulic directional control valve that sits just forward of the battery. I haven't confirmed whether it's a fitting or an o-ring in there somewhere. The whole thing is wet with fluid. Previous attempts to tighten hoses, clean it up and try to locate the seeping have failed thus far. It seems to only occur under load. My next round I want to disconnect the hoses and remove it so I can remove all the threaded fittings, clean and reseal them and reinstall. Is there a rebuild kit available for this thing so I can replace o-rings in the valve body and spools? I'd like to do it all at once. I will call Prinoth tomorrow, I'm just wondering if anybody else has dealt with this and may have advice. I guess it will eventually get bad enough to easily find, but I hate seeing red drips every 150 feet when I'm skiing on the trail I groomed earlier that day. Thanks! |

So it turns out the distribution block on the bottom of the assembly has a crack in it. If anyone randomly has one of these valve blocks laying around to part out, I would sure take it off your hands! |
