What size are you looking for? Type? snowmobile trail or ski trail. This is a multi use grooming site.

I prefer the Sno-Boss. I've tried many different brands over the years and this one works the best. It is also built much stronger than the competition. Of our 3 drags, our oldest has around 4000 hours on it and still going strong.
Have been grooming since 1978 have covered more than 100,000 miles of snowmobile trail.

I have used homemade, Arrowhead, Maxi and Mogul Master. We currently own a Mogul Master 18-08 and would buy another if we needed to. Very aggressive, decent build quality and it tracks well behind the cat. I like the wide flotation tires as you don't rut up the trail if you need to use them. Also you can back up without the wheels for a bit without building up snow due to the curve of the pan.

The Maxi is by far the class of the field. I like it because it has the features of the MM but it also allows you to control the amount of snow in the pan. The pan is hydraulically adjustable. Also you can force the drag into the snow instead of it just floating as most drags are designed.

If I had my choice and we had consistently good snow depths the maxi is what I would choose. It's just that good. The mm works just fine and we don't have a need for the moveable pan due to the lower snow conditions.

One of the best drags every made is built very close to your neck of the woods. Universal Truck Equipment in Arcadia builds the Ultimate Drag. I've been grooming for 25+ years and have pulled just about everything made. Our county now has four of these and the county to the south of us has started switching over to them. They are excellent is most conditions, but they truly excel in low snow conditions which we are having all too often these days.

Give Gene Dubiel (owner of the company) a call at 608-343-6751

After many years of using Mogul Masters, our club recently purchaced a Trailsetter drag made by Snow Track in Wassau WI. It has a hydraulically adjustable pan which like others with that design allows for more effective grooming in a wider variety of conditions.
We have only run it a handful of times so far, but initial operator reports are that it cuts deeper, packs harder, uses less fuel, and the Trans. temp runs cooler compared to the same width mogul master. Seems that anyone I talk to that has run a drag with pan height adjustment would never go back to a fixed pan drag.

So if anyone is interested, we should soon have for sale a Mogul Master 18-10, and a MM "copy" 18-09.

Our county has one of these. We've used it for three years. It works great if you have plenty of snow. There is no trip to the blades so it can be quite startling if you hook something that doesn't move. I agree it's very agressive and can cut deep. It packs hard too. That's because it weighs almost 7,000 pounds. Pretty much have to park it when snow gets thin.

I didn't mention that what we bought is was what they call the "Trailsetter Lite" weighs more like 4500#.
It got it's first run thru thin conditions last week and did pull up a couple of rocks, but based on other things that I saw, I can't blame it entirely on the drag. There is a bit of a learning curve, and it will cut deep into whatever is there if you're not careful.

The "lite" version is designed for Tuckers, BR180's, Trail Bully's , Etc. that can't handle the heavier Sure Track or Marcel / BG Rossco drags like the heavier machines and tractors can.

Hoping to get more snow and try it out on our BR 180 in the next few weeks.

We have modified a Mogul Master 9-18 by removing the entire blade system and replaced with a true trip blade system. We removed the 11 blades and put in 6 trip blades.

Works great for us with the amount of rocks in the early part of the season. Never broke a shear pin since.

It also pulls as much snow as you want.
