Tried to find the fuel consumption on a Tucker gas model but could not get specifics. I know its going to be high but realistically what are we talking? 30 - 40 gph?

10-12 gallons per hour is about right pulling a drag

It's been a long time since I've driven a gas powered Tucker but as I recall, the fuel consumption wasn't that bad. Around 5 to 6 gph. I know the Bombardier SV252 we had would use about 50 gallons on a 10 hour route.
Have been grooming since 1978 have covered more than 100,000 miles of snowmobile trail.

Our '87 w/318 would use 10-12 gph. pulling an 8' Arrowhead drag.

Like I said, it's been a while. The machine I used to use was a 1978 model 1342 with the 318 and a 5 speed. It may have been around 10 to 12 gph. I just don't recall.

10gph was our best with the 318 and 360 both with Automatics pulling the arrowhead drags back in the late 80's and early 90's. Glowing exhaust pipes and all!

Ditto on the glowing exhaust, right back to the manifolds. Could have been related to having to run to the floor at all times in order to pull anything.

It was crazy having to run wide open for 8 hours. Guess the engines did ok because you sure didn't hear too much about failures knowing how hard they were being pushed.
