I have a 16-08 That is a little to small for my needs and the two rear blades are staggered so they cut at different depths if you have the drag raised very much. This causes a uneven trail surface.

I also have a 18-10 that I bought midseason last year and was a big improvement. This model does a very nice job with the exception of not having an adjustable /pivoting pan. When in deep fresh snow I have to raise the blades high enough to keep the snow from clogging the drag and spilling over the sides. Then the pan is riding on the tail end and does not provide a very good finish. Also if the trail has a side slope of any kind, in those conditions, the drag will slide to the down hill side and completely mess up the trail if you don't lower the drag in time.

All in all I like the drag but then I have never used another brand or seen one in action so my opinion is limited.

Gotta agree with most of the last posts observations.
After seeing what can be done with a Marcel or Sure Track with the adjustable pan height, it makes a BIG difference in the results in many situations.
We have an Mogul Master 18-09 and 18-10, and wish they had such an option.
I'm still not sure if the other adjustments (off camber angle, front shoe, Etc.) are as important, and seem like they may overwelm an operator with too many functions, but the "articulated pan" seems like the biggest advance in drags since the days of bed springs.

If you're not already working on it, I would get your guys to build a articulated pan prototype.
If you need some feedback on it, our club would be glad to test it out for you this winter.
