Or at least too much all at once. Almost 30 inches of fluff the past few days. Even with all the floatation an Alpine offers I was plowing quite a bit of snow, and have decided just to let it all settle for a few days. I had hoped to track pack and roll, but the snow coming over the windshield (even with my weight all the way back) made it rather difficult to see.... I wish I had a Skandic SWT around, just to see how it would have handled the conditions. I know a Skandic WT would not have gone a lot of places I did from past experiences. Or, as I said to my wife, "I need a snow cat" ![]() |

we do not get that much that often, but one year i think we got about 36" and it was no go with or SWT or VK550. Diffently if you know how to ride better it helps, but i'd go 25 fett and kept getting stuck and that was just with snowmobile no groomer. Other groomer got farther but still was not worth the effort, as you said had to wait till settle few days later and still was tough til got though once. Snowmobilers down the road have a snowcat with drag, so if it ever happens again hopfully they will help use out with first pass, even if we pay them will be well worth it if the consesscion can open. |
