We have a hydrostatic level light which comes on after about 1 hr of operation. Regardless of outside air temp. Also just started getting a tiller oil temp light. Any ideas what it is. The grond is nvery firm without new snow for three weeks!

what machine??? what year is machine? how many hours on the machine? what tiller?????

on our pb edges, the engine drives a pump, which runs to the tiller. some of the oil goes through a cooler, which has a fan whcih kicks on when the hydraulic oil temp gets too high.

a low oil level is different then a too hot indicator. On our machines, we can hear the fan kick on to cool hte hydraulic oil, Can you hear a fan kick on?????

if it occurs after an hour, as a wild guess, the oil really is too hot maybe because the fan isn't coming on like it should.

low oil level means you need to add more oil.

We had a bad fan clutch in our PB100 acting something like this earlier in the year. After running a while it could not cool down the oil. :(
