There are some local guys in this area that build some. Most of the clubs like ours built them over several years. We cover our small town pretty well.
We were having our snow fest on the pond this w/e and I insisted that all the groomers make it there. We had all 5 on the pond. We left them in the field afterwards and most of them split and went back to their homes on Saturday night.
Probably wont get them together again for a few more years.
Anybody in the area looking for a demo ride some night let me know.

I see two are carrying spare tracks on the drag. Do they tear them up easily? Any tips on building a set?

nice job E2 spear I am trying to talk my club into getting a couble of track systems for our smaller trails, but it is hard to talk them into anything but tuckers.
If you get a chance to study on of these riggs I don't think it would to hard to build for someone with mechanical ability. I still believe that if one of these guys that make the kits, sold the prints they could make money.

E2spear, I forgot to ask how much does Bruce charge for his drags. They look stronger than MM.

Quick question, can someone tell me how much fuel do these use either per hour or per mile. And how deep of snow will they go through without the drag? We are on the verge of biulding one this coming summer. :scool:

Good eye on the spare track. I am one of the guys who carry a spare, and I have not neede it. It is kinda like having a spare on your truck. When you are out at night, you know anything can happen. Sometimes mud holes, rocks, or whatever can creep up on you. You can also notice that the two machines with spares also have the winches. Truthfully I wish I could carry more stuff, but the back of the

Blazer is pretty full. Drags are around the 6k range complete with hydraulics.

With out a drag they will go through some pretty deep snow.

The best thing about driving one is they are comfortable, and very warm.

Tuckers are great. The only thing is that dollar for dollar, you won't get much of a Tucker for the same price.
Get a few members together and come up to see what they will do. If someone is really interested we could probably get two to go out so some people could go out all at once.
I do not know if anybody actually has prints. We are just Maine hics, what can I say.

Hi, Ralph (the other Spear) From Hartford Ridge Riders in Eastern NY (near Lake George).
We bought the Geo Tracker from Bruce Milliken, and put together a 2000 Blazer with a track kit and 7'/ 14' drag from Bruce. If anyone would like to check out either of these units you are more than welcome to see, ride, etc. Just contact me through the website www.HartfordRidgeRiders.com and we can work something out. This would save you about 6hrs. driving time from here to Lewiston, ME.
