I've been grooming for 6 years now, so to some I may still seem like a rookie, but I run between 1200 and 3000 miles of grooming per year. I've groomed almost 10,000 miles. Thought about starting an Around the World award for our drivers who reach 24,902.4 miles (Earth's Equatorial Distance).

Groomerguy,
Just do the math. In a Tucker going 15MPH that would be almost 13,500 miles a year :o
Your on your way. :jump: :jump: :jump:

Unfortunatly in our terain we only average about 5MPH in my PB.

I'd hate to think how many miles I have logged. I started grooming in 1972. I've operated 8 different brand machines and 14 grooming tractors since then. I still do at least two nights a week for about 200 miles per week. Im a member of 2 clubs in northern Michigan.

I think grooming at 15mph is kind of pushing it a little. But, our club had a year 2000 Tucker Terra and it would easily do 15mph. I used to drive a 1978 model 1342 with a 5 speed transmission that would do over 25mph.
Have been grooming since 1978 have covered more than 100,000 miles of snowmobile trail.

I have no clue how many miles I will put in this year. This is my first year grooming and I have almost 350 hours in. By the end of the season I should have easily doubled that.

So averaging 5-6 mph puts me around 2000miles so far this year.
