Anyone know where I can get a few sprockets refurbished? We've got one on the Lamtrac right now that needs changing. We've already got a replacement for it but we'll have three of them as extras that are pretty mangled right now. Anyone have any experienced with the refurbished sprockets? How's the durability on them? What's the cost to have them redone instead of buying new?

Here's a picture of the one we'll be replacing......

I tried falline this morning and they don't have a mold for the lamtrac sprockets yet so they can't do it. I'll keep looking.

Try speaking with John Towle at Maine Tire (800-894-9926) in Gorham, ME. Maine Tire is the MFG for Perma-Groomer tires but they also have refurbed sprockets in the past.

Check in the grooming links page on this site. I think i saw a couple places that recondition sprockets and rollers and such. I think one was in Wisconsin and the other in Oregon. If i come across them again i will post back.

Try Charles at MTN Equipment in Dorval, Quebec. Here is a link:
http://mtnequipment.com/sprockets.html

I see Lamtrac isn't listed there on that particular page, but it does state that they have quality parts for all models including Lamtrac on another page on their site. Their phone # is 1-877-MTN-SNOW. Good guy to deal with. GREAT DRAGS, we have 2 of their MTN 10x18 models.
