The one that is missing is the newest one. It is a '99 4 door. Hopefully by the end of the season we will update all the pics including 2 Skandics w/ elect over hydraulic drags. These beat the hell out of screw jacks like most people have. After using this new drag, I would not ever use the old slow screws again.I have a Warn 8000 on the one I drive. Another one has a 9000 Warn, and the other two are driven by people who do not require them. |

Interesting. I am very interested in your electric over hyrdralic solution. What kind of actuator do you use? Where can you get one, and how much? The screw actuators on our skandics work enough some of the time to make us realize what we are missing when they don't work. Also, seems to kill the battery. |

The problems with screws are they are too slow, and they require power to raise and power to lower. The old one we had used two screws one for the front and one for the wheels. On a long night the battery would go dead. The new ones do not have wheels, and they are light enough so you do not need the wheels. We are using a Monarch mini single acting power unit along with a small hydraulic cylinder. You use the power to raise and a lot faster, but the down only requires a small amp draw for the dump valve. The drag has a small battery and we have a charging wire coming from the sled to kind of trickle charge it. This thing will make you want to be out all night. The mini units I sell are about $350, cylinder about $80, and a $20 hose. |

e2spear, have you heard of someone around Mars Hills making and selling track systems. Also what Monarch Pumps and rams are you using on you larger drags. |

No, not sure about Maes Hill. Monarch model # M-3598 we have a couple in stock. www.monarchhyd.com Using some inexpensive tie rod cylinders. 2"x16" on the rear, and 2 1/2"x8" on the front. eric@mountainfluidpower.com |

The track systems for trucks and suv are Mattracks or homemade. Most around Maine are homemade. They work very well but you have to be carefull, they do not turn your wife Jeep into a bulldozer. The are an inexpensive way of getting your trail groomed. Have a look back through the fourm an you will find lots of pics and discussions on these rigs. |

X2 They do an excellent job for the price. Sure beats being out in the cold doing the same trail 5 times with a sled. |
