PS - it only had 194 hours on it when this happened.  We just turned 4400 on her yesterday!

I thought the groomer looked really good coming out of the water, like a bath. Didn't realize it was brand new! I wouldn't be able to stop crying.

Crying? When it happened I was more than upset. My wife was trying to calm me down. I said to her "my LIFE is at the bottom of that pond!" You should have seen the stare I got. I'm still paying for that statement!

Have you ever made the mistake of referring to the groomer garage ( or real work) as home ?

Nasty mistake also......usually ends up as some more charges on the credit card ....lol

Thats funny my wife just told me the other day she wished i cared about her as much as that G DAMN GROOMER. I think some of us are in the same boat as far as the women are concerned. :winter:  :letsnow:

The other night, got a call from a new recruit about adding hydrolic oil to the machine. just getting back into town and swung over to help. My wife wanted me to add some windshield wash to our van, but i told her I'd do it later. Not a good reply. :o

I got the ultimatum, the club and grooming or her.

Seems nice not to have to walk around her Buick to get to the tool box in the garage.

It's funny how women just don't understand. The other day while I was out grooming, my wife called me up on my cell. I told her I was still 30 miles out. She says to me.........OH good, you'll be home in a half an hour then cause I've got a hair appt in an hour and I don't want to take the kids with me!

She got rather upset and just couldn't understand how it could take me 3 hours to drive 30 miles.

.........takin it one mogul at a time

Don't know what type of equipment they were using to groom, wish I did but it looks like the recovery company don't have the expierence of going onto swamps in MN like most of us do.

ALWAYS USE MATS!!!! when something small like a groomer sinks in it, there is a high probability that the rescue equipment is going to do the same if you don't take precautions.

This is going to be expensive!

Turns out it sounds like a Cat skid steer not a tractor in the mud or a groomer
one of the people were in yesterday looking for a machine to use for recovery.

www.mn-outdoors.com

He said they figure it will cost over 500,000.00 buy the time they are all done on the recovery
