There was a used Imp for sale

Doug Wilson(on right) and crew were there from Mtn. Grooming representing Sur Trac and more.

Larry was there from Advanced Snow Groomers with a new drag(sorry Larry, I forgot to get a picture of it)

The Shop was represented as well.

The big No Show was Cook's Equipment with their Tuckers - there were quite a few asking where the Tuckers were.

Did anyone take the Paana for a spin, or get more info on it? Looks like a really nice versatile unit for smaller trails to me! I might even have to change my "dream groomer" response to one of them, rather than a PB100 (though room for a second person is rather nice).

I'd be curious to hear more about the PB Scouts as well....

I know, I should have gone to the show myself. My excuse is my vehicle is in the shop, so I'm driving my plow vehicle around instead....

Neither the Paana or the Scout moved, although Brain let us start them up. The Paana was very comfortable, excellent visabilty, cummins diesel sounded great. Scout seemed a little noisey, and in my opinion, kind of ugly, Both priced around $100,000

Anyone get a look at the Prinoth Husky? Wonder if they've made the cabs bigger on these compared to the BR180 they're supposed to be replacing. I run a BR160 on occassion and find the interior storage room very limited. What's the behind the seat storage like?
.........takin it one mogul at a time

Interesting on the PB prices. I expected the Paana to be around 100k, but I have to admit I'm shocked the Scout is as well - it looks much less finished and more basic, and doesn't have as many possibilities for it (other than the cab) as the Paana.

Too bad neither of them got to play. Maybe next year:)

Excuse me if I missed it but what show was this and where?

I can't believe Cook's wasn't there but then again I don't even know what show were talking about.

Looks like it was muddy and no snow, also appears there was a lot of "little" equipment there.

Was this a all types of grooming show, strictly snowmobile or what?

WOW. Can't wait for the groomer show in our area (Feb). Your pictures of the Husky make it look a lot nicer than there website. It looks good, but I've already broken the spot light off. Needs more protection.

When I saw the scout I thougt it was an antique. The front bumper reminds me of the redneck bumpers on the mudding trucks around here. The Paana (How do you pronounce that?) Looks nice. Though training would be a bear. Will have to look at the specs.

100k, everything is a least a hundred k.

The show was the NYS Grooming Equipment Show in Salisbury NY at the Salisbury Ridgerunners Clubhouse - January 11th & 12th. The show was targeted more towards snowmobile trails. They also hold a groomer operator course - this year there were 85 operators in attendance.

I was very suprised that Cook's wasn't there too. They have never missed this show before. It was a little muddy with low snow conditions due to a week of 40 & 50 degree temps. If it was held the week before there would have been plenty of snow.

the club I belong to in mass. The Coldbrook snowmobile club just bought a used asvdx4530 from cooks this week I know this is the second machine and third drag in under five years we have bought from cooks and bill and brain and the guys are some of the nicest people you could deal with. so if they didnt make it to the show i'm sure they had good reason why they couldn't get there. :grm: :myopinon:
