We got our first snow of this season last night. Temps dropped to about 24F and mother nature blessed us with some beautiful white snow for the first time this fall. Our elevation is about 8450 foot elevation in the Big Horn mtns of Wyoming. We are hoping to have a real snowy winter this year. :letsnow:

It got into the mid-60's (F) here. There was some concern that it might stunt the tomato harvest :o

Snowing already??? Here, we usually don't get our first snow fall till sometime around halloween. Then it melts and by late november, we're almost ready to start grooming(on a good year). Most of the time, we're looking at early to mid december to start grooming except for last year.

This was halloween last year for us. Then it melted and we were lucky to see a white chrismas with less then a foot on the ground. But that was last year. Let's hope for snow this year. :letsnow:

Well, I was sitting in the lunchroom at work today looking outside when I spotted it! Went outside for a minute to see what it was and sure enough, first snow of the season. :jump: :snow:

I was tempted to sprawl out on the ground and start doing snow angels but alas, the yard around the mill was full of mud and my co-workers were watching! :letsnow: :letsnow: :letsnow:

This is about a month too early for our usual season but I'm not complaining. Hope it's a sign of things to come.
