We aquired a 70' bridge from another club that was no longer using it. (freebie)
Had it moved as close to the new location as possible. Took the bridge all apart, rented a skidder for the day and dragged the beams 5 miles to the new location

Rented 2 excavators to upgrade the trail and put the beams in place.

Drove the small excavator across the beams that we placed on the old bridge and reasembled the bridge.

Members of both the snowmobile club and the ATV club nail on the decking. Pressure treated 4"x6"x12' lumber with no spacing between the boards so the bridge retains the snow and there is no damage to the deck from studs.

Nice job! We just had to pull out a bridge about that size last year due to the embankment starting to give way.( it ended up leaning to one side due to being about a foot lower than the other side) Ours was a two section peice though with a cribbing in the middle(an old logging bridge used to be there but was removed many years ago. They left the embankments in place when they pulled the bridge.
.........takin it one mogul at a time
