Been working with Mt. Tillers and Renovators. The Mt. Tiller is a implement that is mounted on the back of the tractor. It's a farm cultivator. Renovator is a implement that is mounted on the front of the tractor. The renovator is a tool used for help setting tracks for cross county skiing it helps loosen up the snow for the track setter. The Mt. Tiller is used to break up the renovated mateiral and loosen up the snow and airate. Sorry for some spelling. When this process is complete tractors them with power tillers groom in the surface. Leaving a courdry finish. This process takes out the hard pack surface left by power tillers that keep compacting the sub surface. Makes a real nice skiing and riding surface lasting all day with out a hard pack sub surface. Any comment on this techiques would be appreciated. If any interest in this technique feel free to email for some pic.
