This is a Tucker question, Just had our machine gone over by Cooks and had ice keels put on , did I make a mistake? How bad is this going to tear up the highway I have to cross?

Don't worry about it.We have one with track studs and it doesn't do any damage to the road crossings. The sleds with track studs are what do the damage to road crossings. You guys made a good call. You won't believe the traction difference it'll have climbing those hills.

You will be ok on frozen stuff. It will tear everything up in the shop though and it will sink in hot pavement like a warm knife in butter during the summer. I wouldn't worry about the roads, sleds spinning with studs is what tears things up quicker then anything. |

You made a good move by having your ice keels rebuilt. Now the track bar will stay flat and not roll when the wheels go over them giving better traction and a smoother ride. This will also help the belts last longer. |
