OK Yannick,

We are seriously considering a New Holland TS125A with a set of your tracks, but our only concern at this point is traction on ice. I've seen pictures of the studs you offer on the Soucy website, but no real testimonial. Care to make any promises? Anyone you can put me in contact with that has had some experience?

About 50 % of our clubs here in Quebec use them. Only the areas with really icy steep hills. I have many contacts that can share with you but they all speaks french. I will ask my sales partners that covering Ontario and east of US to come b ack to me with people that can share with you about there performance. I know that we have climbed some of the steepest in Tug Hills area.

I will come back toyou shortly.

looks like a well designed track............I like the idea of studs. I don't know how many times I wished I had studs on our tracks while spun out on a hill in low snow conditions. Sure would have saved allot of choice words. :(

Do the studs harm the pavement when you have to cross the highway/go on public roads etc with the machine? Are they prone to being torn off?

Not very much on asphalt and worst on concrete. If you do a lot of asphalt and concrete they could torn faster. If it stays on ice and snow they can stay very very long.

The Tucker rubber track has thinner lugs and I'm not sure there is enough meat around the studs to let them hold enough. I figure that one inch of rubber around the studs could be enough. The price is around 1100.00$ for a box of 150 un.
