Our grooming in northern WY was scheduled to go into early April. With the lack of snow and recent warm temperatures it will end very soon if Mother Nature does not decide to do something serious. Look for a lot of forest fires in the west this next summer with the lack of moisture this past winter. :needsnow: :letsnow:

Up here in Maine its 37 degrees and light rain. It might get down to 32 :banghead: With low to no base, its pretty well over. We suspended grooming for tonight and I'll take a ride and check things out tommorrow.

My daughter and I rode 100 Miles in Northern Aroostook today, lots of snow probably 2 or three weeks of riding left. Found no bare spots, some slush near road crossings from the salt. Temp was near 38 degrees. Had a Moose decide to block the trail for a short while, we just stopped and waited for him to go back in the woods. No plans to quit grooming yet. Drew three loser hands in the poker run.

Life is to short to drink cheap beer.

Went out from 2am till 6am this morning. Getting some bare spots, but alot less than I expected. See if we can get a couple of guys to do some midnight runs till the weekend. Possible heavy snows for later in the week. Never know, we might get a another week in. :scool:

We may not send anyone at night. As Kalhua pointed out on another site, we'll probably just be loosening up whats there, not very cold temps at night. Wait and see if we get any signifigant snow late week, and if we do we'll make a few passes to bring in some business for our locals

We had a slow season here in sheboygan county wi. this year, I only put on 90 hrs. of grooming in, good thing in march here we got blasted with 2ft of snow with lots of drifting and cold weather.
It makes you feel good though when the warm weather comes and you see the trail base for a week after the 60 degree weather, you know you did a good job at laying it down, ;)
Hope for a better season next year,
It has been great learning and talking to every one on this sight,
Thanks kozs :D
