Challenge Rules

Our perpetual challenge is open to everyone and taking part is simple... catch a fish, take a screenshot and submit your catch here but only after you have read the following:

Golden Rules

• Always make sure that the specie you are submitting is already listed. If not then create a new topic. If it does exist, just reply to it with the image code.
• Topic titles should start with the name of your fish. For example, if you have caught a Common Bream, then this is the name you enter for the topic name. Do not just put bream as there are several types of Bream. This also goes for every specie.
• The first specie caught MUST NOT exceed 1lb (256 drams) unless the specie grows to over 125lb (fishsim weight) in which 5lb is the limit.
• Any fish caught and then posted MUST NOT be over 1lb (256 drams) more than the previous catch. This ensures fairness to everyone taking part. In certain species it is impossible to be within this limit so all we ask is that you post fairly. If someone posts a fish weighing 12lb, do not reply with a fish of 70lb.
• Due to bandwidth measures, all images must now be hosted with an image host. I recommend these FREE ones: photobucket.com or imageshack.com unless you have your own host.
• Any image posted in this section MUST be a full screen image and not a cut down image just showing the fish.
• Posted images MUST be 640 x 480 pixels. This makes it fair for various screen resolutions to view the images without having to adjust their computers.
• Catches from "forbidden" venues will not be allowed. Not everyone fishes on these venues so I ask that only venue from the downloader or from my website (excluding the forbidden venues) be used.
