Forum Rules
To keep this forum clean, usable, and helpful to others a set of rules have been put together that we ask all forum members to comply to: -
Golden Rules
• Please do not post links to other forums that contain forbidden or unvalidated venues. Use your Private Mail or Email functions to pass on links regarding these sites. Although simmersdreams offers support and downloads for these types of venues, we guarentee that all downloads on our site are safe. We will not be held responsible for any downloads outside of the simmersdreams website.
• Please post in the right forum! You will have your post moved to the relevant section if you post in the wrong forum!
• Use descriptive topic subject. This will help others find what they want to read. Topics with bad topic subjects maybe deleted!
• Research your post! Make sure you are not double posting, search the forum first most questions have been answered dozens of time before.
• NO trolling. Don't make posts that are inflammatory just to annoy people.
• Personal attacks. Criticise ideas, not people. Flaming will not be tolerated. This includes any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually orientated, or violates any laws.
• NO pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material. This includes suggestive images, graphics, and comments.
• DO NOT post links to warez, warez sites or sites with pornographic or objectionable content. Only link to sites that are for family viewing only.
• Respect the privacy of others. DO NOT post other's phone numbers, addresses, pictures, etc., without their permission.
• Each forum member may only have 1 account per email address. All email addresses require validation to prove authentication.
• DO NOT use objectionable language which includes swear words. Younger people maybe using this forum and having a board with bad language does not make our forum look good.
• DO NOT dig up old threads. If you want to continue an old discussion (older than 1 month), create a new thread and reference the old one in your post.
• NO blatant advertising. This forum is not free advertising space.
• Politics and Religion. This is not a political or religious site, this is a fishing and general chat site, please do not post on any issue that can be considered as political as someone will always be offended.
• NO Spamming. NO commercial posts or flooding the forum with useless content.
• Message content. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages.
• NO Cap Locks. Please do not post messages with the subject or post all in capital letters, or your message will be deleted. Words all in capitals are not only annoying but are read 50% slower than normal writing.
• Use English. This site is primarily an English language site so please ONLY post in English. Other languages can not be moderated and support question will not be understood.
Signatures
• Your signature, including all images and text, must not exceed 550x150 pixels.
• Limit the size of text in your signature to 2 sizes larger than the base size.
• Any images in your signature should not total to more than 50 KB in file size.
• Avatars should be no more than 25 KB in file size.
• Do not use flashing images in your avatar or signature; these may cause problems for photo-sensitive users.
• Please keep avatars and signatures family friendly.
• Signatures may contain a link to your personal site or sites that maybe of use to other members, No Blatant advertising!
• Signatures are expected to follow the same guidelines as posts.
If you are found breaking any of the rules you will be warned. After one warning and any user is found to be still breaking the rules, there will be a moderation put on your account. If, after a 3rd time the rules are still not being adhered to, your account will be suspended for a period of 6 months afterwhich the admin reserve the right to re-activate your account.
