With Wasps confirmed in 7th in the Aviva and Stade Francais from the Top 14, the questions turns to who will referee the Play Offs.

I will go with Nigel Owens for the 1st Leg, John Lacey for the 2nd Leg

I would think that is a very good shout RCG. Would both be very deserved appointments IMHO

John Lacey has indeed been appointed to the first leg this weekend, so not bad predictions from the RTR crew.

A few surprises in the other play offs though:

Pro 12 semis go to Italian Marius Mitrea and Irishman Olly Hodges (who saw those coming?)

French semis to Mathieu Raynal and Pascal Gauzerre (after Poite and Garces did the 'QFs')

Aviva semis not so surprising in Barnes and Doyle (Garner and Carley are doing the Championship semis)

Bizarre appointment for Olly Hodges! I guess most of Europe's referees are tied up with other games.
