Thought it was an amazing fightback by the England lads last night. At 114/7 when all our top-flight batsmen had gone (Cook, Prior, Bell, Pietersen, Collingwood, Flintoff and Shah) you thought game over, and we would have done well to get to 150. Step forward Ravi Bopara and Stuart Broad, who put on an unbeaten 99 to see the English boys home. It was good to see the tail wagging for a change!! :D Onwards to Headingley where we hope to seal the series!!!! |

I have to say, its been an absolutely superb 2nd half of the summer since India arrived. The test series was competitive, and a lot of high quality cricket was played, and the ODI series has been a cracker too, and its so nice to see our lads play some good cricket in the 50-over form of the game! |

I actually watched it yesterday (well the 2nd half), and it was a great, close game. Broad and Bopara were excellent, and never really looked like getting out. The Indian fielding was shocking though. :D |

Yeah, stereotypical of Asian countries TBH - their fielding is something which leaves a lot to be desired! West Indies are the same! :shades: |

Sri Lanka tend to be the exception to that rule. |

Yeah, SL are the possible exception, although they have their moments! |

I caught the last over before I left for work and boy was it worth it. Nope not for Mascarenhas hitting five sixes off on over, for the commentary from David Lloyd after Mascarenhas hit his 4th six. Cue - 'Dangeranus' |
| Sydney. Where the sun shines constantly, and the trees burn in summer. | |
