Salford 5-2 Harlequins :| :|

Super League's first ever try-less match. Given the freedom often in SL, this must have been one strange match to watch! :P

At the lower reaches, wins of any description become vital, especially against other sides down there. As a result, safety first rugby comes into the fore. So for all Im suprised this is the first tryless game, I predict the closeness of the years comp means it wont be the last.
Funny that the "highlights" had to include the penalty offences. Which, for the record, were all correctly given.
Whilst Im on the subject of good refereeing, well done Ben Thaler on Sunday. Handled a really close game (for 60 minutes until we showed our class) very well. He'd be top of the Rugby League RTR table, no prizes for guessing who'd be propping it up!
