This is a report from the recent two-day meeting in Dubai, which makes some very interesting proposals. There are changes to the powerplay rulings in particular - and a task force set up to discuss international umpiring, with a possibility of umpires being allowed to stand in their own country's test matches, with a fellow ICC elite panel umpire alongside them, which is something I am in favour of, and seemed to work well enough in yesteryear. |
