What a load of rubbish we have had to endure this season.
By "we" Im not just reffering to my beloved Bulls, but fans of the game on the whole. Some of the Super League refs are now full time. This means that people within the RFL have had more time to come up with some of the most ludicrous interpretations of the laws you could imagine.
A superb display today by Hull's Richard Silverwood in beating Saints can be used as evidence here. He awarded his team a penalty because three Hull players were stopping a Saints player getting on with it. You hear the complaint in football, its infuriating when refs who dont understand the game feel the need to get involved. Enough goes on without them looking for it.
My mate who went to the Bulls game tells me we had to beat a 14 man Harlequins outfit tonight as well. If they could just drop the need to penalise players who have no wish to infrindge then the wonderful sport of Rugby league would be even better.
No doubt Crispy will differ, Silverwoods performance for Leeds last week, where he awarded a 30 yard touchdown reception without any regard for the forward pass rule, was even better than his effort today.

To be honest ATM, I have hardly seen any SL this season so far (no Sky TV!)

However, I think that the SL refs on the whole did a good job last season. They come across as being very professional to me - albeit there current decision making is something I cannot really comment on.

One team turned up, one didnt. We were dreadful, and when it looked like we were going to win anyway, I must admit to being embarrased.
My school plays against a team coached by a rhinos fan tonight. Comments like yours will make the victory sweeter.
