You never thought you would see it!! New Zealand have beaten Australia 3-0 in the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy that has just been held across New Zealand. This includes: 1) Australia being beaten by 10 wickets for the first time ever in an ODI. 2) New Zealand TWICE knocking off scores well over 300 3) Australia's first three-match series whitewash for 10 years 4) Matthew Hayden making the highest ever ODI score by an Aussie, and STILL ending up on the losing side. Scorecards: Match 1 Match 2 Match 3 Oh it feels good, even if it wasn't England piling on the agony.......this time! :D :P  |

So that's 5 defeats in a row, and 6 in the last 7 iirc! They'll probably still walk the World Cup, but nice of them to give us all hope.... |

Just to confirm, Matthew Hayden made a huge 181! Nothing really, when you consider I'd aim for the car park every time :P |

Current odds for the Cricket World Cup (courtesy of Ladbrokes) Australia 9/4 South Africa 4/1 Sri Lanka 7/1 England 8/1 India 8/1 New Zealand 8/1 West Indies 8/1 Pakistan 9/1 Bangladesh 200/1 Zimbabwe 250/1 Kenya 500/1 Scotland 500/1 Canada 1000/1 Holland 1000/1 Ireland 1000/1 Bermuda 2000/1 Whilst it takes a brave person to go against the Aussies, there has been a chink in their armour, and they are probably as close to going through a major squad reorganisation as they have been in the past 10+ years. You can see two definite favourites, and then the other major 6 nations are in very close proximity to each other, then a huge gap to the rest of the field (agree with Bangladesh's odds over Zimbabwe's as well) |

First priority is to ensure the ball does not hit the wicket, obviously. Second priority is to smash that green Ford Fiesta that stole my parking space
:D Seriously though, I probably would be bowled first ball, you're right! |

Well, they don't......very well!! It's a bit like someone like Northern Ireland or Wales being in the football World Cup finals, it isn't really going to happen, but then they aren't the worst team in the entire universe! Even Italy and Gibraltar play cricket! :P (see the "ICC Members" tab on the left hand side of the link for the full members) |
