Liked the way nemesis left extra space between Oliver and his second choice. Point taken.

Marriner had some very good performances except I felt he missed a few too many bad challenges in one or two other games, some of which I thought should have drawn straight RCs. Otherwise, I would have put him at number 2.

All about opinions though and of course which games we watched in full, in part or not at all.

Oliver is clearly going to be everyone's number one but 2nd spot is going to be close between the unconventional marriner and the favourite mr Atkinson , the fall from grace for Lord Dean has been dramatic and somewhat of a surprise .
It's nice to be important but much more important to be NICE ;)

Some interesting facts until now.

Oliver is clearly ahead followed by Atkinson.

Kavanagh is 5th with only a few points between him and Marriner/Taylor.

Atwell and Probert with 0 points so far.

At my first attempt, I did include Probert but then realised that we were being asked for our nominations as Referee of the Season and, sadly, I didn't feel that we had seen enough of Probert for him to be included.. By the same token, I didn't include the promising Kavanagh although I did nominate Tierney as I felt he had perhaps done just enough games to merit his place.

Edy, if the voting has now closed, can you tell us the final tally please. Michael Oliver is evidently streets ahead but I'd be interested in the 2nd-5th placings.

Many thanks
