Mark Heywood - I have always found him very fussy and I would of thought it would of gone to a SG2 referee but evidently not!! Anyone else found this?

John Busby - We had 4-5 Home Games ago and he was very good so I am excited to see him again. I do also hope if he gets injured that Brett Huxtable is improved which he was when I saw him when on holiday can't remember where. How is he doing?

Saw Huxtable at Brisbane Road last week and thought that he was OK.

Is England and Deadman's appointments at QPR and Ipswich respectively suggestion they may be in line for promotion to the SG2 list in the summer? I guess a few others may be "trialled" before the end of the season.

Nicholas Kinseley - the worst officiating I have seen for some time. Missed the penalty (Linesman gave it), was rarely up with play. Did he see the foul and play the advantage, or did he just miss the foul, it was not obvious on several occasions. Poor communication to the players and fans! Did not stop play for an obvious head injury on the penalty spot. Just was not at the races today!

Given that he comes from that rich line of pedigree ..... whistlers from Wickford, my only advice to anyone planning to watch him is don't expect too much and you may not be too disappointed.

Happily, he is unlikely to be at Southend (geography) or Ipswich (level of competence).

Whereas Deadman potentially could be a regular visitor again to Portman Road...

I happen to have seen Kinseley twice this season. On the first occasion he was extremely poor in what was a scratchy and tetchy match which he never managed to impose himself upon or control. The second occasion, in a far more straightforward match, he was fine with good decision making and keeping to just the right level of intervention. I guess he does not officiate particularly well in testing circumstances but neither does he ruin reasonable matches by over fussiness. Most unlikely to join the SG cohort I should think.

Nick Kinseley was good when he was at Barnet earlier this season for the visit of Hartlepool. He was pretty spot on with most calls, including a DOGSO red card and penalty, but let the game flow and appreciated the spirit in which it was being played.
