Kettle reached 100 yellows today inside 21 games....quite an achievement!

Sounds like he lost the plot at Oxford today according to local radio as I was driving through the area.
4,76 cards per match.

Seems a reasonable amount.
All I know is that I know nothing

In Europe definitely, perhaps a bit high in England

That's not to say that less cards necessarily means better refereeing of course

I think we could be seeing a replacement for Graham Horwood at Gillingham tomorrow night (he was replaced at Notts County on Saturday). Another in the thankfully small list of injury-prone refs?

Add 9 more yellows and a red from Kettle tonight, 1 penalty and a very unhappy Cheltenham boss who forced Kettle into some touch line words at his protests.

Oh and 36 fouls.... the whistling Kettle is back!! :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

I was not there but Michael Salisbury apparently sent Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth to the stands for 'some cross words' late in Crewe's latest win in L2 (Crewe Chronicle online).

Andy Haines replacing Graham Horwood at Gills, he certainly seems to be putting in the miles of late!
