Referee for this match was shown as Robert Jones. RTR are usually v good at noting changes, even late changes. I've not managed to catch up on Goal Rush highlights yet, but Rob Lewis would be fairly easily distinguished by his small stature, he must be one of the smallest refs on the FL list.

Lee Probert referees Crewe twice in a few weeks, and now referees Donnies for the 2nd time in a couple of months.

I'm surprised Lee Probert is still doing L2 games, thought he may have done a Championship game by now. I get that he's been injured, but he's done a number of games now...

Is it a different fitness test for PL vs FL? That might explain it if he hasn't passed it?

Or perhaps he's said, or the PGMOL have said, that he needs to do a certain number of games injury free before going back to PL, given the major problems he had? Last thing anyone wants, be that clubs, authorities or the referee himself, is a referee breaking down on a PL game and having to limp off.

Perhaps, and I guess it'll be some time yet before we see him in the PL, but I'm surprised he hasn't had a championship run out yet. Also yet to be paired with SG assistants.
