According to the PGMOL official page Lee Probert is no longer listed as a SG referee. Is this correct and have we had this confirmed?

I think that lists referees who have refereed in the PL as Graham Scott wasn't on it last week.

Probably just because he hasn't refereed a PL game yet. Last seasons list has Simon Hooper listed despite never being SG. I'm sure he'll be back in time.

Heck of a journey for Seb Stockbridge who I think is from Tyne and Wear. Carlisle last Saturday, Plymouth next week.
Any reasonable known logic? Or will someone come out with the customary "maybe he is on holiday or working in the area"?

Fair enough.

I thought it was strange bearing in mind that the SG1 gaps in the Championship haven't been filled, yet Probert has been appointed already.

I hope that this is not the case, or that Lee is having a season away from the PL to fully recover before re-joining the PL next season perhaps. He is a good ref who will be missed on the PL if he has decided to step down permanently. Arguably David Webb at Bury has the pick of this weekend's fixtures on L1 & L2. Seb Stockbridge must be setting out about now for his trip from Tyne & Wear to Plymouth, surely the longest journey for a ref to make, and is it really necessary for appointments such as this to be made?

On a similar theme, Robert Jones travels from Liverpool to south-east London to referee Rochdale for the second time in six weeks!

According to twitter, Graham Horwood went off injured at Northampton and his replacement produced a red card within the first minute!

Graham Horwood has gone off injured. The assistant who replaced him, as his first duty, was to send off a Northampton player (which then resulted in the winning goal). Anyone know which assistant went on?

Would it not be Josh Smith as a 2b referee?

Graham Horwood was having a decent game, about 88th min he went across to talk to the Rovers bench and as he went to rejoin play he pulled up with a calf twinge. Replaced by the bench side AR, the shorter and more rotund of the two ARs.
6mins added, first action was to issue a second caution, no complaints, and although not scored directly from the resultant DFK we could have done with the extra defender when they did score their winner.

Another ref who doesn't seem to be very lucky with his injury record.
