Well here it is, the new Rate The Ref Forums!

I just wanted to see what your first impressions are of it? And any suggestions stick them in this forum. Oh, and why not introduce yourself in the 'New Signings' forum.

Thanks

I like it too. As mentioned it'll take me a while to get used to it, but it has the modern look, and imo is much better than the old one.

The other thing I really like about this site is:

When you have posted you can go straight back to the topic you were onand look at the others in that board.

IIRC you couldn't do that on the old one, or am I being brainwashed by all the new colours and layout etc ;)

You are. Just to give it more of a refereeing feel. You'll have to work your way up the pyramid just as in refereeing (minus level 8). :P

Don't go getting banned though, or else you're a level 10. ;)

Doesn't look like it. According to my profile I post on average 12 times per day, so I should be fast tracked relatively quickly!

Ah, but just as in refereeing, your promotion gets slower and slower as you progress. ;)

Well you're a FIFA Referee at 148 posts. On my current average, that should take me 10 days to get to!

Are you suggesting you're going to edit the number of posts needed to get to the next level purely so that it takes me as long as possible to progress?

If so, meet Mr Very Unhappy Face-

So any chance of letting in on what we have to aim for to climb the ranks?

Well if you want to become a Level 7, you have to make 100 posts. Beyond that, you'll just have to wait and see, it'd spoil the fun. :P

Now don't go making pointless posts or flooding the boards to boost your count, or else you'll find yourself going backwards, rather than forwards. ;)

I generally think the improvements are good. The one thing I miss is the identification of which team the contributor supports.

Very nice to have a new forum, but I still prefer the old one. Doesn't matter, I'm still a RTR fan
