You can start them whenever, please don't misconstrue my uploading pace as a hint to get started or anything, my only concern is getting everything done on my end before you-know-when. If anything, I think of Hibiki as the,"My Pace" Kamen Rider series, so I think approaching it the same way would be thematically fitting. That plus September-November seems like the perfect time of year to watch Hibiki(Asumu starting school coincides with that time of year, I believe that's when they actually start filiming the Rider/Sentai shows, and because the forests onscreen resembled the ones near me at that time). |

Well, I've run into a speed bump on this project already. The raws that were sent to me (by ShinkenAnon and Castiel) are H.264 video thrown into an MKV. I can subtitle them, but I can't convert them into anything else. They're crashing every video encoder I throw at them. Even my old backup, AllToAVI. For now , I guess I can just release the softsubs, but it makes working on this project INFINITELY more complicated. I can't open the video up in Aegissub, and I would like a hardsubbed version for myself. I tried contacting the guys over at Toku Raws Revolution, but they're in a bit of a state of chaos right now with lots of people making outlandish requests, and the new admin trying to pick up from where Momotaros left off. tl;dr - Without better raws, I can't work on this project as thoroughly as I want to. |

hmm, when I make hardsubs I use avidemux andI've been able to make xvids hardsubs from H.264 about half the time, though it depends on if it's in a good mood or not <_< Could take a crack at it. |

I can convert that for you, should be able to handle it with avisynth. Never had issues with h264 mkvs in aegisub before. |

This is good. This is close to what I had doubts about, and the "weather report" dialogue was exactly what I thought it was. A few big errors, but between the HKs and the Japasubs, we should have something to work with here. Thanks a lot. |

I was able to make it load in Aegissub by using machete to cut off an incredibly insignificant portion of video from the beginning of the episode, and then remuxing it with mkvmerge. That SHOULD help, for now. At least for the subbing process. Also, would ANYONE be willing to do an error check on these releases? I'd really like to avoid just cleaning up TV-Nihon's scripts, and between the two scripts I have, my own language skill, and my familiarity with the show, I THINK I can do a pretty good job with the scripts... but I'd just like to be sure. tl;dr - If anybody wants to watch through the releases and just offer some minimal input on corrections, let me know. |

The grammar and spelling isn't an issue, the translation is. The first episode had quite a few big mistakes, based on the original script. Also... I'm having a hell of a time with this file. The MKV goes out of sync with its audio when I try to play it full screen. Windowed is fine. And Trying to convert it with AVIsynth or AllToAVI keeps giving me a memcoder crash. Can anybody suggest any tricks for re-encoding it? |

Maybe you could try converting it to an MP4 with handbrake? The video quality should be comparable, you probably wouldn't have any problem making an .avi or an MKV from it, and I've never had any problems loading a handrake MP4 into Aegisub. |
