The raws are all available on megaupload, they can be easily found via a /rs/ search.

24 RAW link, for convenience: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ounff2wa

Here's the script for 24. It's already sort-of timed, but needs editing and tl checking to put it up to good quality: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D11UL1B5

Thanks for the heads up on the megaupload raws, the torrent posted earlier wasn't giving me much speed so this is great!

The timing is nice, from a quick skip it seems to work well though a handful of lines need to be fine-tuned a bit. Much better than expected!

Well then, I'll handle the timing, QC and insert the snazzy font for special moves. Would starseeker be ok with doing the encoding and quick second QC pass?

The deal with the timing is that, thanks to one of the readers at my blog, I have access to the Italian subs in .srt format. The timing is off for two reasons:

1. they're timed for a 25 fps raw, while the raws on MU are at 23.978 fps;
2. they don't include, in the timing, the OP and ED.

1 is easily fixed thanks to Subtitle Workshop, while for 2 I shift the times so the episode title comes up at 1m33s. It's not an exact metod, so for some lines the timing can be a bit off.

Yeah sure. I can QC alright. Encoding will be a tad tricky but doable for the next few weeks due to owning laptop with overheating issues and a dodgy fan, and I can't take my new desktop home for easter (it's too big to carry on the train).

And thus, [Manly-mSubs] was born! :D

Yeah, I figured the offset was because it was timed to the Italian audio, but it seems it was a tad more complicated than just that. Nevertheless, the results of your tweaking are a godsend. I was half afraid I'd have to time from scratch like Xabungle which would stall stuff considerably, with that project being unfinished still.

Encoding, CRC checking and all that I have never done before. My current rig has some stability issues, but I'll have it fixed within a month from now. So in case your laptop dies in fire I can try my hand at encoding and stuff too.

Encoding is an utter pain when it goes wrong I'll be honest. Still suspect the computer back at home is an old single core one. On the plus side, my laptop will probably be better off in a house where no there's no idiot housemate to whack the heating up to 25 degrees C.

Hmm, Aegisub doesn't mix well with wmv's? I inserted the intro in the .ass, and when I play it in Media Player Classic or any other player it appears perfectly timed. But when I look at the video in Aegisub self, it is not! Subs appear a second later than they're supposed to. The Aegisub view has to be wrong, but how does one fix this? I'm running the latest version of both Aegisub and CCCP codecs.

Grab the .ass here, plus 2 pictures comparing the same frame in MPC and Aegisub.

To clarify, the subs in Aegisub are perfectly synched with the audio, but the video seems to be lagging behind a bit. When you play it in any media player both audio, video and subs are synched perfectly.

Aegisub does that with WMVs. I'd "solved" the problem by converting them into AVIs and using those to time.

This is why I encode raws up first to mp4 (I use wmv raws for Raideen).

I see! Never worked with anything but avi's before so didn't know it was picky.

Well, hit me up with that mp4 whenever you find the time. I'm feeling motivated!
