We had a Combat Mecha Xabungle thread:
http://z8.invisionfree.com/mSubs/index.php?showtopic=11&hl=

Which I can't find in Projects now. I think it might've been pruned because of the lack of replies.

I haven't updated in a while (only done it in the blog... I'll make sure I do it in the thread too), but I think projects threads shouldn't be deleted since they provide links to the episodes and stuff... no?

I'll make another thread if the old one can't be "brought back".

I have a nagging suspicion it may be our hosting that's responsible (it is free). The question is: can we afford paid hosting? Or is that even necessary?
Can do: whatever needs doing

Fix'd. It's actually there, it's just the forum by default only views active topics in the last 30 days. Changed the default value, fix'd, etc.

And can we get a paid hosting? I dare say yes. You see, majoring in CS pretty much gives me a lot of connection on that kind of things. Heck, I'm quite sure i can persuade a friend to lend some space in their hosting service for free. Or at least very cheap which i can pay from my own wallet. Definitely easier than finding a dedicated translator for Kuuga.

The question is now: Is that even necessary? Well that's up for you people to decide.
Understand some Japanese. Can also time and maybe upload stuff thanks to new ISP.

I'd say go for it. That and you could probably look into getting a real domain, anything would look better than the current URL... lol. And I don't know about others but I wouldn't mind sending just a little bit to help out.

msubs.com look like it's for ... submarines! But msubs.net appears to be available.

I don't know...to me, this place suffices. There's really no reason to invest money unless it has a purpose outside of cosmetics. But, it's all up to you in the end.

as regular viewer, I agree with patrick...

I mean, we're just a little bunch of merry mecha lovers of different subbing groups in order to just have a place where the links 'll be available for a longer time that they'll be on /m/

I think investing in a better forum/machines/servers/whatever is a very good idea, BUT just when we are already settled here, bring more people or grow up in numbers... whatever comes up first...

Yeah, you have a point. We have just enough people to get by, so new recruits are always welcome.
