If by neat typesettings you mean flashy effects, I don't really think it's needed. Take a look at this. http://rapidshare.com/files/197812527/_mSu..._NOT_FINAL_.ass Mind you, that as the filename says, it's yet to be completed. I still have to rework a few more sentence, translate one more Gronginese line, and I have some doubts about the translation of some lines. For that i have to consult my friend. Or if some of you with better knowledge of moonspeak could help checking the translation, go ahead. But that aside, the timing and typesetting should be done. I personally think that the typesetting i use is good enough. Not to mention /m/ in general hate flashy effects. |

Oh, I forgot to add that I probably need to add lines about location names, and probably some other minor lines. The episode name probably need to be positioned correctly, but that's not something a pos tag won't fix. And some of the dialogues on the first half still need to be retimed properly. But that'll have to wait because for now I'm going to work on Mellowlink. |

Ok, so far from what I can tell, the grammar and everything is pretty good. I'm going to run a couple of test encodes. Also, there is an error the raw, but I think I understand how to fix it, so wish me luck. If this works, I'll post one of my tests, it won't be the full episode, but it'll be something. |

So far, after looking at the script a few more times, I noticed a small errors and have fixed them to the best of my ability. And I got the hang of the encoding, so when we're ready I can get a decent encode done in about 10-30 minutes. Edit: Here's the script that I have checked so far. Anyone else want to check it, I think some fresh eyes might be needed. http://rapidshare.com/files/198091087/_mSu...ecked_.ass.html |

So i just watched the video, and... Did you just hardsubbed the video? I mean, I'm fine with it and all, but I figure with a basic typesetting playing h264 + softsub in a mkv shouldn't be a problem with most computer (not to mention someone might want to turn off the not so pretty karaoke during the song). If you don't know how to do it, here's a quick and easy tutorial quoted from another post. It's so easy even I could do it easily! ![]() Well of course, if you have the time and resource to pull out dual release, please do so. I really prefer mkv with softsubs, though.

If you want to try and filter the footage, you could use Avisynth in Virtualdubmod, but I'm not sure if the filters I use for anime would work at all for live action. |
