London next for Del Piero?

This is not a good story guys...

Alessandro Del Piero is being linked with a move to London if Juventus net Antonio Cassano in the summer.

Speculation in the peninsula suggests that the 30-year-old will quit the Turin giants if, as expected, Juve net Roma’s Cassano at the end of the season.

The youngster is seen as an heir to Del Piero in the Italian game and Alex’s mediocre season doesn’t bode well.

He’s often been substituted by boss Fabio Capello, who is also a massive fan of Cassano after their time together at Roma, and the January arrival of Adrian Mutu raised further questions about the No 10’s future.

Now a switch to the Premiership is being touted with a number of clubs reportedly interested.

Although the likes of Liverpool - who Del Piero will face on Tuesday - and Manchester United would be keen, Del Piero would reportedly only consider a London move.

That leaves the door open for Chelsea, Arsenal and even Tottenham to ponder a summer bid for the Azzurri ace.

However, conflicting reports on Monday suggest that the former Padova youngster will remain for at least one more campaign.

Del Piero has started to rediscover some of his best form in recent weeks which has helped Juve maintain their joint leadership in Serie A.

A potential sale would also not be welcomed by the fans who see the captain as an emblem of the club.

i honestly believe the squad needs another striker. we cannot depend on zlatan alone. del piero i believe is gettin older, we have to accept that his glory days have passed. we need a new addition upfront. i've been thinking about robinho of dortmund. how do u guys rate him?

well... I think we should sell Trezeguet and get Gilardino!
Trezeguet is getting injured too often nowdays and we need a goal poacher desperately!. If Alex is going to retire in Turin, let him be... ask him to sign new contract that will cut half his current wages... afterall he is the highest paid Juventus player right?. Everybody will just shut their mouth if he decide to to that!

Lampard??? wahhhh most unlikely to happen. I think we should go with Vicente (sorry any Valencia fans!!)... I think Neddy is more like a left winger than a playmaker. Its just his game style sometimes forced him to drift from wide position to the central position, making him like our playmaker. We ALWAYS play with 2 dm's in the centre and 2 winger. So to ask for a playmaker is hard considering any player thats have rumours joining us is more to defensive mid type.... Mozart,Essien,.... Even kalau kita dapat Mancini from Roma pun I dont mind, :P

Lets hope Mutu will score like when he's in Parma before!!!!!!

hahah... epl player mana nak main kat serie a. takut patah riuk beb. but, lampard will be a very gud addition to our squad. but as usual moggi wont allow it. too expensive la. vicente antara left wing terbaik aku penah tgk, tp season ni aku x tau apa jadik kat dia. injured kot. but he'll replace nedved very well if we get him. vicente pun bukan play maker, but dia a sort of similar wif zambrotta.
