:o Nonda eyes Juve switch
29 May 2005 00:00

Monaco striker Shabani Nonda has hinted that he could be set for a move to Juventus with some reports claiming a deal is already done.

The 28-year-old Congan international appeared to be heading for Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers, but they have pulled out of a deal because it was felt his form and fitness had not been up to standard in the final few months of the season.

Despite that it seems that the Serie A title winners will be willing to hand Nonda a four-year contract but he will be loaned out on his arrival in Italy to help him gain some experience.

He said: "Now is the time to say goodbye and discover something else, in a new league, where I could play against better players.

"My priority is to play, wherever it will be. I will name my future destination next week.

"People talk about Juventus. Maybe. But I am also attracted by Spain.

"If it is Juventus, that will be great. If not, it will be somewhere else, and it won't be the end of the world."

despite all those strong rumours,

i got a funny feeling that we might not sign any big names.

but gilardinho MUST NOT go to parma,

now parma and bologna are in the relegation playoffs,

there is a 50-50 chance parma will get relegated, and gilardinho is gone by the next season for sure, it will be interesting.

Juventus make Cassano bid
Wednesday 1 June, 2005

Juventus have reportedly made Roma an initial player plus cash offer in their bid to sign Antonio Cassano.

Director general Luciano Moggi is understood to have met with Giallorossi chief operating officer Rosella Sensi on Tuesday to start talks.

The Bianconeri are ready to hand over Adrian Mutu and £9m for the Italian international forward.

Moggi made contact at the request of Fabio Capello, who bossed the youngster during his time in the Italian capital.

Juve are also keen to wrap up the deal as soon as possible given that Inter and Real Madrid are also interested in the former Bari starlet.

The Stadio Olimpico side will now have to decide what to do with Cassano as his contract expires in 2006.

The club have already extended the contracts of Vincenzo Montella and Francesco Totti but an agreement with Cassano may be difficult.

The cost of keeping the 23-year-old would be high and it may make more sense to cash in on him, especially as they will now be paying Totti £7.5m-a-season.

It was believed that Juve would offer cash and Shabani Nonda to the Giallorossi but that now looks unlikely.

Reports in Italy today suggest that Nonda has failed a medical and therefore will not complete a summer move to Juve from Monaco.

Bayern Munich stopper Robert Kovac has passed his medical and he is set to be confirmed as a Juve player very soon.

Meanwhile, Olivier Kapo could be heading back to France. The winger has failed to settle in Turin since his move from Auxerre and Monaco are keen on his services.

Juve could sell Emo for Real
Wednesday 1 June, 2005

Juventus and Real Madrid could decide to swap Emerson and Walter Samuel this summer, according to an Italian football agent.

Reports have suggested that the Bianconeri may release the Brazilian in return for the central defender – who worked with boss Fabio Capello at Roma last season.

And now Dario Canovi, a respected football representative, has added more fuel to the fire.

"It’s not a story without foundation," he told Spq Radio. "I really think that it could happen. It would also explain why Juve are looking at certain types of players, like Mozart."

The Reggina player has been associated with the Turin giants for some months and Canovi wouldn’t be surprised if the move occurred.

"His switch to Juventus is probable and very plausible," he added. "As far as I know, their interest in him is very real.

"It is also true that other clubs like Milan like him but I think the Old Lady are on the verge of netting him."

Canovi also suggested that Real Madrid were keen on Shunsuke Nakamura, Mozart’s Reggina teammate.

"There is an interest," he insisted. "It’s an old story as the Spaniards fell in love with him before he moved to the Amaranti."

i would say no way for emo-samuel swap
btw i dont like samuel defense style
he is the agressive one, like montero
giving lots of foul
i prefer somebody who has 'smarter' defense style like thuram n canna
dont give foul around penalty box too much

dua puluh sen !!
:D

Its a bit risky swapping Emerson and Samuel. Berbelah bahagi jugak ni. The idea of Samuel in Juve is interesting, its just the position that Emerson will be leaving is important and if we didnt get a qualified replacement..... *Sigh*
Takut Scudetto pun x menang next season. But who knows what Moggi will do. I think he is smart enough to think abt this.

i think it's a wise choice to swap emerson with samuel

IF samuel gets back his form.
emerson imho is just a decent player nothing spectacular about him, i was suprised that he cost juve a bomb a season ago. We still have tachinardi and nedved to play in the middle.

Moggi welcomes Giannichedda
Friday 3 June, 2005
Juventus transfer guru Luciano Moggi has announced the imminent arrival of Giuliano Giannichedda and Robert Kovac.

The Director General is traditionally cagey about deals until they are made official, but was open about the club’s strategy during a radio interview this afternoon.

“This has been an extraordinary season for Juventus and we proved throughout the campaign that we were better than Milan,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“As for next year, the team is already competitive and we have already reinforced the squad with the signing of Kovac and Giannichedda.”

Neither of these deals are a surprise, as it has been reported for some weeks that the Bianconeri were in advanced negotiations.

31-year-old Giannichedda has proved himself to be a versatile player during the last year at Lazio, equally impressive in midfield and central defence when the situation called for it. He has decided not to extend his contract at the Stadio Olimpico.

Kovac will also be a free transfer, as the Croat international defender’s deal has expired with Bayern Munich.

Now Moggi’s main target will be Inter midfielder Cristiano Zanetti. Struggling to find room at the San Siro, he is a long-time favourite of Coach Fabio Capello and was also with him at Roma.

Another option is Milan’s want-away star Massimo Ambrosini, whose patience at warming the bench has finally worn thin.

Another defender is also on Juve’s shopping list and Palermo’s Andrea Barzagli is the main target, though they have not lost hope of tempting Walter Samuel away from Real Madrid

Juventus Bring Back Giorgio Chiellini from Fiorentina

Posted Image

Bianconeri transfer guru Luciano Moggi has confirmed that Fiorentina’s Giorgio Chiellini will return to Turin this summer.
“We will undoubtedly buy up the other 50 per cent of Chiellini’s contract,” said the director general. “Fiorentina already know the situation and there will be no problem.”
The defender was signed by Juventus from Livorno at the end of last season, but immediately handed over to the Viola in a
co-ownership deal.
The youngster has impressed at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and earned a place in Marcello Lippi’s Italy squad.
Scudetto winners Juve are already planning for the next term and have confirmed the arrival of Bayern Munich defender Robert Kovac and Lazio midfielder Giuliano Giannichedda on free transfers.
It has also been reported that they are in advanced negotiations for Lecce winger Marco Cassetti – something Moggi has denied.
“Cassetti is a very interesting young player and had a great campaign, but we don’t need him,” Moggi told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

*i hope he can help us alot

ace, this info is good... none of those transfer "rumours", instead just clear-cut facts and info is placed... u should open a new thread on this, turn it into a sticky, and update it... Just the confirmed transfers, contract situations and negotiations that's going on at Juventus...

i'll welcome cassetti n mozart
cassetti can replace zebina

i think our current DMF will be sold ...either appiah/blasi/tacchi
mancini will be a great addition....since Olivera is still not impressing me

...but we did sign cannavaro a year later.... FOR FREE!!! (okay, it was player exchange with Carini, but that's almost as good as being a free transfer)...

trust in Moggi... he's a genius... sometimes we don't see it, but he has great plans...
