This confirmation follows a story last week where the studio said they'd soon be unveiling a second project, which at the time was thought to be another Thief game thanks to previous hints. Eidos Montreal is also working on Deus Ex 3. Stephane D'Astous, General Manager at Eidos Montreal, made the following comment on the company's site. "Were in the early development stages for Thief 4, but this is an incredibly ambitious project and a very exciting one. It's too early for us to offer any specific game details, right now we are focused on recruiting the very best talent to join the core team at the studio and help us make, what we believe will be one of the most exciting games on the market." Aside from the logo, there isn't much in the way of imagery yet, though an official site and message board for Thief 4 is now live. I never really got to be a big fan of the previous games, but I did enjoy Thief: Deadly Shadows.

The game played a lot like splinter cell... just you steal shit! And then you fence it! AWESOME!
