Well this is only my favourite franchise game since KOTOR, so I'll keep it short and simple.

If there's any reason that I should keep my 360 up and running, it's Mass Effect 2.

Can't wait. Nuff said.

PS: Goosebumps.

Yeah, it's definitely one of this generations best new IPs, if not the best. I finally got my "Bring Down the Sky" liscense transfered onto my 360, so I've started my Insane playthrough back up. Also purchased the Mass Effect Premium Theme, first one I've actually bought. And I've got to say it's one of the best ones I've seen, I'll try and post pics of it later.

What do you guys think of the trailer itself? Do you think that they're really killing off Shepard? Share your thoughts.

I'd share my thoughts but I never played the first ME so I have no idea what's going on!

Then you should pick it up and play it.

It really is a great game. There's a few things wrong with it, like some load times and some weird graphical popin -- but it's the experience which is so satisfying. Everything from the characters to the environments -- and especially the conversation all make Mass Effect one of the best sci fi games EVER.

Hell, I can't wait to play through it again once I'm done my lineup of other games to go through.

I'm booking the week of the release of ME2 the day I know it. Can't wait for this at all.

If Shepard is killed off, there's still plenty of use with your Mass Effect saves. Those saves aren't just about your character, but about what happened during your experience. The people you met, or killed, ones who died and didn't, missions you completed or never started, and the decisions you made throughout. Those are all things that can change the outcome of your game, and what occurs in the next. And if he/she is killed off, those are the things I could see them using from our game saves.

And you can't really blame Bioware for the technical issues Mass Effect has, it uses Unreal Engine 3 after all. Nearly every game that uses the engine has the same problems, even Gears.

Oh totally. But I've never been a big fan of the Unreal 3 engine. Hopefully they'll get a better version of it to give Mass Effect a better technical experience. Don't get me wrong, still to date one of the best looking games ever made, but the loading to get there is tedious and should be fixed on Epic's part.

I'd be more than happy to stay in that elevator for an extra second or two to reduce (or eliminate) the pop in on the other side.

Regarding that Geth....

BUMP.

Mass Effect 2 (aka the game to end all games, till Mass Effect 3) is going to be available on TUESDAY. I encourage every and all members of every gaming community EVER to go and buy it. Twice.

Can't wait. Fight for the lost! :D

After checking out a wiki for Mass Effect 2, I discovered a few promotional items. The items themselves are all headgear, so if you'd like to get them for yourselves, click the link and follow the instructions.

As happy as I am for everyone that's able to participate in the DLC link there, I'm ready to huck a brick through a window if they don't start giving us Canadians a break. Bioware is in Canada. The freakin' OLYMPICS are here. Why can't I buy a drink, and download a visor?

Lame.

Here's a question: Did your Mass Effect 2 Collector's Edition come with a Cerberus Network Card? Or did it only come with the Collector's Armor/Rifle?
