If you haven't noticed already, we've recently updated our contest thread with a Killzone 2 giveaway. Playstation 3 is going to be making an important impact with us here at InfinityGaming, mainly because it's growing into more gamer's homes and entertainment setups, whether that's through bluray or via PSN. Starting now, we'll be scouting for Playstation gamers. Our own SpartanZypher has worked day and night bringing an exciting new theme to our forums which should be live right now. If you don't see it, please scroll down to the bottom of the page now, and select the "Multiplatform" option in the "choose a theme" drop menu. The rest should work just fine. The new theme is now the default layout. Any person that isn't registered and chosen their theme will see the new the new colors! Most if not all future ads and banners will be made using the new default colours of blue, white, black and gray; so the new theme is our main focus. Kinda like the bump up to Windows 7. More flash and more features! One of the new features is the ability add your PSN username for your profile fields. Just go up into 'preferences', then to 'update profile' and you can edit yours there. More forums and other features will be added within the coming weeks. Anyone is welcome to Infinity Gaming, with the simple rules of the member being mature and somewhat knowledgeable in the gaming industry. But PSN is growing too. Millions of subscribers are hitting their online service each day playing great games like Resistence 2, Little Big Planet and SOCOM -- and all for free. Now this isn't a debate about which console is better -- those can come later using the message boards. But know that from here on out, Sony's console will have a significant impact on our community; so know that if you're able to pick on up, get one on eBay, or for a gift that other members here at Infinity will be the first on your friends list! Xbox 360 is still the majority of our online gaming at this point, and Microsoft's platforms are not going ANYWHERE. Cool beans on the layout. Really modern looking. I'd actually consider getting a PS3, but I'm scouting for a new guitar which is higher on the list of priorities, I'll get one eventually though! |

Thanks everyone! As Rocky said, this is the new Multiplatform Theme, and will now be the default for the forum. This will also be the new template for any game specific themes in the future, although those of you without widescreen displays might not see a whole lot of difference. With this theme I've corrected quite a few issues, both purposefully and accidentally. As you've probably noticed all the forum buttons have been replaced, which was quite the task considering there's nearly 60 of them. All things considered, the easiest image to do was the new background. Whereas the banner was the most difficult thanks to the lettering, which took a total of about 6 hours. I've made the top and sub menu's both easier to navigate, especially in Firefox, totally didn't know there was an issue before since I use Internet Explorer. So sorry about that one. I've also corrected the text alignment when previewing a post. And ZetaBoards has finally gotten the Calendar events to display again, so I'll be posting the next three months game releases via IGN.com's release lists in the coming week or so. I'll also be working on new group rank images that go along with the theme. Well, that's about it, as always if anyone has a suggestion of change or finds a problem please report them to me, either by private message or posting. |

Alright everyone, I've got a couple questions about the themes. First off, who all uses the game specific themes? I've been thinking about either deleting or recreating them, depending on which ones you guys would like to see remain. Also, do you guys like the wider forum style the Multiplatform and Xbox 360 use over the others? And finally, if/once I start doing game themes again, do you guys want them based off of the Basic theme, or the Multiplatform theme? |

I was using the Xbox 360 theme until you made the multiplatform theme. If you made game specific themes with the multiplatform or Xbox 360 theme as a template, I'd probably use it if it were a game I like. If you made a cool Geometry Wars theme, I'd crap myself =D Or some kind of Gears of War 2 theme... yeaaaaa... |

I realised that the Fast Reply box was a little screwed up, so I went ahead and corrected it. Also did some minor color adjustments to some of the boxes. As of right now, I'm going to redo the Xbox 360 Theme to a higher quality. The old way I positioned images created an issue with a good looking representation, but the new way allows me to make it look much better. So expect that to be the next change to the themes. PS: Keep in mind, any future themes will use the Multiplatform theme as a base, so you might not get the full/best picture if you're using a 4:3 ratio montior (meaning old square ones). |

I've disabled the Xbox 360 theme, I'm removing the images for it so I can reorganize the images for the new version. If I continue work on it daily, I should have it up in about a week, so for those of you who use it, you'll have to suffice with one of the others until then. |

Once more, Zypher brings us a new iteration of the multiplatorm theme! Check out the new Xbox 360 themed infinity gaming using the small drop down menu box at the bottom right of the page! The old Xbox 360 theme is there for you to compare the two to see what he did to upgrade it, and to bring it to the new template. SO! Check them out, and comment here! Thanks again Cory!

Oh come on Saucey, you can give me more credit than that. Sure they look similar, they're Xbox 360s, but you can't tell me the new one doesn't look a ton better. Not to mention it has matching board images and buttons, whereas the old one didn't. Yeah, there are a few re-used images, but that's because they didn't need changed. I put around 24 hours of work into the new Xbox 360 theme... Just wanting a little credit...it's all I got.

I DO like the banner at the top. Do you make them yourself, too? The theme looks good, it's just that naturally the two 360 themes resemble eachother, and I'm a man who loves his blues, so multiplat is for me =p |

Aside from the buttons and icons (which I do re-color), I make all the images. The background, banner, the borders, all the little background images for each part of the forum. There's a total of 58 individual images. Then if there's any modifiying that needs to be done; fonts, background colors, link colors, border frames. And there's at least 50 of those, so it's a lot more work than it might look like. Good thing I don't have anything else to do... PS: Not sure if any of you noticed the names in the new Xbox 360 theme's background, but you can save it if you wish. PSS: By the way, my next theme is Gears of War 2. I'm using GearsofWar.com as my template, so expect it to look similar. However, in doing so, it will require quite a bit more work than any other theme I've done. So don't expect to see it too soon. |

Work still continues on the GoW 2 theme, but I promise it'll be worth the wait for those of you wanting one, I hope. I also deleted the Old Xbox 360 theme so now there's just the Xbox 360 theme. EDIT: I've decided to remove all the older themes as well. They just didn't work with the new format we're using. If there were any of them you guys would like back, let me know and I might recreate it at a later date. |

I think your patience will be rewarded. It's already gotten more work than any previous theme, and I've only gotten the main parts of the forum completed. It's all the others that need the most work, things like profile menus, calendar, et cetera. |
